Château Pesquié, 974 Ventvri 2019

Located at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the southeastern Rhône Valley, Château Pesquié is now into its third generation of Chaudière family ownership. It's now headed up by brothers Alexandre & Frédéric Chaudière, who have put all their passion into producing wines with the characteristic freshness and finesse of this exceptional terroir. Ventvri 2019 is made from a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, taken from vines aged between 20-80 years in the slightly cooler southern Rhone appellation of Ventoux. A nose of black cherry, plum and blackberry moves to an envelopingly juicy palate with a slight floral note on the long finish. A great wine for all kinds of red meats of BBQs.
